3 days from now....

It's hard to believe that in less than 60 hours we'll be on a plane to London!  We already have six bags packed with baby clothes, school supplies, candy (enough for a village it seems:), medicine, yarn for the pregnant teens to crochet, etc.  Not quite sure where we're going to fit our own clothes!
Riley's pretty much convinced that she's going to fly in a suitcase (see photo in next post) and I'm sure the passengers of the flight would much appreciate that vs. my chatty kathy of a kiddo:)  We practiced a little quiet game yesterday using Trader Joe's stickers.  The following sticker eventually covered her little mouth for about 45 seconds:)

She's really excited though to go to Africa! She has all her little toys lined up to share with the kids she'll meet and often tells us that Africa is full of kids.  I get the idea that she's expecting it to resemble Disneyland and will definitely be in for a minor shock when we land.

Speaking at Kiwugo Community Church
Monday, Feb. 14      
All day volunteer/staff training at Comforters Center (Pregnancy Center in Kampala) & time with pregnant & new moms.
Tuesday, Feb. 15    
All day training at Rahab's House (Home for rescued prostitutes & street kids)
EVENING: Reality Check presentation to Bulamu Children's Village
Travel from Kampala to Gulu (Northern Uganda) 
Wednesday, Feb. 16-20
Time in Gulu with Mercy's Village
Monday, Feb. 21          
All day training & spending time at Wakisa Ministries (Pregnancy Center & Maternity Home in Kampala)
Tuesday, Feb. 22          
MORNING: Reality Check presentations at God Cares Primary School and time with kids at Buyamba (orphanage)
EVENING: Reality Check presentations at Bulamu Children's Village
Wednesday, Feb. 23    
MORNING: Visiting & Training at Gideons at Wakiso Ministries
EVENING: Devotions for Bel Air Presbyterian Church Missions Team in Entebbe
Thursday, Feb. 24      
MORNING:  Reality Check presentation to God Cares High School
EVENING: Presentation (Healthy Dating, Relationships, Identity) to Women of Grace (Group for young professionals)
Friday, Feb. 25          
MORNING & EVENING: Presentations to King's Daughters (college women) & Brett to present to college men's group.


Friday night: Fly back to London;  arrive at LAX on Saturday evening (Feb. 26)
